WHERE DO I START?

Start by giving us a call at (708)497-5925, or if you prefer, go to the "Contact Us" page and fill out the form with your initial questions. Our first contact with you over the phone or email will help you get a brief idea of what you might need and how we can help you decide if we are a good fit for you.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT I NEED?

WHAT SETS US APART FROM OTHER HOME SERVICES?

DOES INSURANCE PAY FOR THIS? IF NOT, HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST?

AM I ABLE TO SET UP A PAYMENT PLAN?

AM I ABLE TO DECIDE WHAT KIND OF SERVICES  I NEED?

WHAT KIND OF  SERVICES ARE TYPICALLY  PROVIDED?

After we speak with you, we can schedule a consultation at your home and develop an initial plan. What you need is based on your goals to help you do things that are important to you--maybe even activities that you have not been able to do, including if there is any uncertainty--the question is ---can what you want or need to do in your home be done easier? This is the question that we would be able to answer with you, whether it is for yourself or a family member/caregiver.

We are expert and professionally trained individuals who are equipped to to look at how someone moves and functions at home. We carefully look to see if and how you fit in your home by using research proven tools that address how you function, not just what equipment you need. Often a modification or piece of equipment doesn't get used correctly or effectively because the placement of the modification did not take into account the person using it and how they were using the equipment.

Research shows that considering multiple factors such as the person's ability, how they function, and how they do things in their home is what needs to be looked at to move safely and have a better quality of life. We make sure we consider the whole person and determine what the person really needs, no extra, unnecessary services or products

Our rate is $150.00 an hour and pro-rated for services less than one hour. We do accept Medicare insurance with a physician’s prescription stating “OT Home Safety Evaluation” and a qualifying diagnosis indicated by your doctor. Our services are an investment in your ability to optimize your living at home, and can provide huge savings when considering the monthly costs for long term care and/or caregiver assistance hours.

It is possible a payment plan or other arrangements can be made depending on the your circumstances. If you are uncertain, please call us so we can help you determine what is possible.

Yes, absolutely--you are the customer and you decide what your goals are---you determine what you need. We are here to provide you with options and suggestions to help you reach your goals. If it is a one time visit or if you decide to get follow up visits to make sure the plan is in place and works for you---we tailor the plan to what you feel is necessary.

Our typical plan starts with a free consultation over the phone, an initial service plan agreement which includes an assessment. Follow up visits are typical and are based entirely on what your goals are and if that involves other services and/or home modifications. We aim to make sure that we are able to achieve outcomes that meet your goals.
